    InfoProduct Pricing and VAT

    Hello

Bit of a detailed question - but I am building my business plan and just wanted to check the following:

    1. Does anybody know whether I will need to charge VAT (UK) for my Infoproduct (a hard-copy workbook and CD)? (assuming that I am VAT registered). Or is it in the same category as a book (0% VAT rated I think).

    2. What if I bundle in some mentoring? Does the same VAT rate apply to mentoring/coaching services?

    3. Is this pretty consistent across Europe, SA, Aus and USA??

Maybe somebody knows a link to a good web resource - or knows the answers!

    Thanks in advance

    Michael

    Hi Michael

I know VAT is not due on books but to get clear I'd suggest you call the National Helpline on 0845 010 9000 and they can give you definitive answers
