I have a good friend in Scotland who needs our wisdom and advice. She is looking to find out some practical information about Business Leases/Contracts and what she can do to resist landlords that get away with all sorts of unprofessional mischief.
She runs a company that spent its first 5 years in business life with 4 different landlords. She has again (recently) moved premises where she signed a lease with a landlord who promptly sold the property onto another landlord. New relationship - new terms - new nightmare.
