    Last night's teleseminar

We had another fantastic teleseminar last night.  There were 5 or 6 of us and that means we each got a fabulous opportunity to ask questions of both Niki and Nick but it would be selfish to want to keep the numbers as small as that.  I do hope more people join us in january as we all have so much to share.

    Re: Last night's teleseminar

Just listened to the mp3 of the seminar.  Many thanks Nick & Niki for the useful info and encouragement.  It was also good to hear from some other Inspired Entrepreneurs too.

You were asking about ways of getting more people on the calls.  The ideas that spring to mind are to fix the dates and topics at least a few weeks in advance and advertise them on the IEClub site.  Also circulate the details to members well in advance so we can book the dates and times in our diaries.  I only got notification of this one the day before so I was unable to join you. You could also advertise on Facebook perhaps? One of the points on the call was about highlighting benefits when promoting materials, so how about in the email where you advertise the event saying specifically on this call you will learn....?

Can I put in a request for a topic too?  I see you are planning one on using video and YouTube etc., so could we have one on putting audio up on our websites too? For me that feels like a more comfortable first step, but I don't know where to start.  So tips on equipment, software, how to convert files to mp3 and how to get those little play/stop/rewind buttons on your website would be great.

OK.  That's my two penn'orth, so I'll shut up now!

    Re: Last night's teleseminar

    Hi Cherry

I am totally new to You Tube, and audio - but  I'm getting there. It's my intention to get out/on there in 2009!

Alan Taylor (a member of the Inspired Entrepreneur Club) produced an mp3 for me which I have put on my website as a freebie(in return for people signing up to my ezine and therefore my 'List').  I was really pleased with Alan's input and expertise and the resulting mp3 and I recommend him wholeheartedly!

I'm 50 on 1 Feb (yipee!) and a dear friend is fulfilling my wish for a birthday gift of a Flip video camera.  With this device you can upload videos to You Tube, but also create audios (with a suitable photo to accompany it if uploading to You Tube).  I know of several people who have put up on You Tube guided visualisations/meditations with a simple 'still' photo.    So the skys the limit.  The Fip costs under £100 (I've seen it as low as £76 on Amazon) but I'm sure there are other equally great 'video cameras'.  (A friend told me of one she bought in "Toys R Us" of all places).  Flip works on Apple mac which appeals to me.

    Best wishes, Claire

    Hi Claire

Many thanks for your tips. You make the leap into audio and then maybe video feel a lot more do-able, so I shall add it to my list for 2009. It would still be good to have a hand-holding teleseminar from Niki - I guess that is cos I am the kind of person who wants to do it all myself!

I notice you are a fellow SBIer - did you know about the meeting for UK SBIers on Monday 22nd at 1pm in Wetherspoons, Victoria Station? I'll be there.

    All the best
