Personal Profile:
An influential facilitator and speaker with excellent communication skills, I am a confident and experienced trainer at all levels within organisations from the voluntary sector, multinational blue chip companies and the Diplomatic Service.
After a highly successful nursing career I accompanied my husband on a five year diplomatic posting to Washington DC. During this time I worked for the British Tourist Authority promoting the Treasure Houses of Britain, qualified as a training facilitator, and achieved a Diploma in Creative Writing. On returning to the UK I took a post within British Petroleum and created an in-house Personnel support service, which included writing and editing a quarterly newsletter on topical issues, and running courses in-house. I qualified as a Systemic Counsellor at the Institute of Family-Therapy UK; trained in NLP – Influential Leadership and Essential Coaching Skills; plus Diversity and Inclusion, Training Trainers and Writing and Editing Newsletters.
I created Manushi Ltd. in 1995, and have worked with a small group of associates, providing soft-skills training, counselling and coaching. I am frequently asked to speak at National Conferences, and for the Ministry of Justice, and am a regular speaker on National Radio. Widely travelled and passionate about nature and all things to with travel and other cultures, lead me to taking a year’s sabbatical to further my interests abroad. I used my CELTA training to teach English while living in Sikkim, and now teach English as a foreign language within the business sector. I hold an IH Business Cultrual Trainer's Certificate, run a Cross-Cultural Awareness induction programme for Anglo/Korean business at Samsung European Headquarters, and specialise in Korean, Indian, and English Cross-cultural Programmes for organisations trading internationally. I also have experience of many other cultures.
My second website http://www.confident-kids.com offers inspirational online parent courses and one-to one coaching for the modern family
